Bruno sofas & tub chairs.

These stylish chairs and sofas are supplied by two manufacturers. The frames are made from selected hardwoods and plywood (from sustainable sources), and have a fully webbed seating system.

The first range is in ‘faux’ suede and are made especially for the CONTRACT MARKET, i.e. bars, restaurants and hotels etc. The range consists of a chair and two seater in the colour displayed. If out of stock, there is usually a 4 week wait.

The second range is made in Wales for both the DOMESTIC and CONTRACT MARKETS, and is available in a wider variety of materials including high quality hides and easily maintained faux leather. Due to the variety offered, they are made to order and usually supplied within 6 - 8 weeks.

Slightly different dimensions from the range below, they are surprisingly comfortable and roomy for such a compact size.

What is special about these leathers?

They are uncorrected, which means that during the tanning process the patina of the hide is enhanced by the use of natural oils. The inherent grain and markings are clearly visible. The scarring, mottling, wrinkling and shading are distinctive features which are accepted and valued. Because it is a natural product, it breathes and wears differently to more highly processed leathers. Its character is enhanced with age, as with a good leather coat or high quality leather footwear.

Uncorrected leathers are expensive because only the finest hides are used. Each hide, and therefore each piece of furniture, is unique, and some variation in colour and texture is to be expected.

What is Faux Leather?

Faux leather is a less expensive, man made product with a similar look to natural leather, but with different properties, It is easily cleaned, and requires little or no maintenance. A good 'faux' leather is more practical and wears better than a cheap leather.
