An inexpensive weekday evening and Saturday daytime delivery and assembly service is available within the London area and can be arranged through an independent carrier. Please call for a quote. They also assemble the beds for a small extra charge (£10) for most.

SATURDAY DELIVERIES take place throughout day, from 9.30 a.m. until finished.

For an estimated time, please call 020 7739 3480 between 3 and 6 pm on the Friday preceding the delivery, by which time we will have established the most practical route subject to traffic conditions. All deliveries are in a chain.

It is not necessary to be in before the estimated delivery window (usually no more than 2 -3 hours), but you may have to stay later if delays are encountered.

We regret that it is not possible to prearrange Saturday delivery times in advance.

LOCAL EVENING DELIVERIES are usually between 6 pm and 9 pm.

Please note: It is the customer’s responsibility to determine in advance that there is access for large items of furniture at the delivery destination.

Outside of London

If you live outside London and cannot collect, we will try to recommend carriers offering favourable rates to our customers. However, the best rates are often to be found by contacting a local transport company and obtaining a quote for a 'part load' on a return journey to your area.

Some customers have recommended services advertised on eBay.

We offer a delivery and assembly service between London and Greater Manchester area, with locations in between on a monthly basis.

Parcel delivery services, although cheaper, are not suitable for beds or furniture.

Within London

COLLECTION TIMES. 9:00 am until 1.00 pm and 2.00 until 5:45 pm on weekdays, and 9:30 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays.

All collections are from our workshops at 9 YORKTON STREET E2 8NH (020 7729 9448), which are located about 200 yards from the Hackney Road showrooms.  Pull the bell cord at unit 9 to gain entry. (See map)

MATTRESSES SHOULD NOT BE FOLDED. They have a protective plastic wrapping and can be tied onto your car roof by our staff. A roof rack is not required. (This is not advisable with larger pocket sprung mattresses)

Unassembled beds will easily fit inside most family cars, unless carrying passengers. Larger beds, or beds with high headboards and/or drawers may require a hatchback or van. Loading assistance given by our staff, and subsequent carriage, is at the customer’s own risk.  

THERE ARE NO COLLECTIONS ON SUNDAYS when the workshops are closed.

Disposal of an old bed

Manufacturers are subject to strict controls and are not allowed to carry or store used mattresses as there is a danger of cross contamination. We therefore cannot offer this service.

Local authorities are obliged to collect and dispose of your bed. Most will make a small charge.
