TYPES OF FINISH
PLAIN: Finely sanded and prepared for the finish of your preference (D.I.Y.)
VARNISHED: A durable, low sheen clear lacquer.
STAINED & VARNISHED: Choose from the range of finishes on display.
PLEASE NOTE: It is virtually impossible to make one species of timber look like another, or to make new wood like old. Stain is unlike paint, and light finishes are less predictable than dark. We regret that we cannot always guarantee the outcome. Freshly stained pine changes colour in time and generally improves with age. The samples on display can only be an approximate guide. If the colour is of utmost importance to you, it is advisable to choose a complementary, rather than an exact match to an existing finish.
