This is ideal in a bed sit or as a daybed.
If used primarily as a sofa, the narrower 2'6" version is recommended as this has a better seat depth. If it is to be sat on constantly a 'super ortho' mattress has thicker springs, and will last longer than the softer 'ortho'.
Concealed lower mattress and rounded corners
A more basic open construction.
The upper bed stacks firmly on dowels fixed into the lower legs. This action requires two people.
Neither will function fully as a double as the mattresses cannot be pulled together.
