Traditional mortise and tenon joints are secured with bolts - not wood screws. Should instability or movement develop, simply tightening them restores rigidity.
Our bed slats are made from solid ‘flooring’ timber - as against the more common plywood sprung’ slats which are cheaper, break easily, and which are almost impossible to replace.
Designed to last, their bolted construction allows them to be dismantled and rebuilt time and again without weakening. A strong centre beam and virtually indestructible slats provide the ideal support for a mattress.
